First Day Covers and Special Covers

Special envelopes featuring artwork to complement the stamp in question, often produced in limited numbers when a new stamp is released. Special covers are very similar to first day covers (hence them being grouped together here) and are made, not to celebrate a stamp's new release, but as unique Discworld artifacts. First day covers can be identfied by the SH number prefix SHF while special covers have the prefix SHC.

These envelopes should not be confused with Ankh-Morpork Consulate envelopes which will have a seperate section dedicated to them at some point.
