LBEs: 2006

Special Wisdom of the Pond LBE

A special numbered edition of just 1,000 LBEs to mark the Year of the Signifying Frog. Each will contain an assortment of the new Ankh Morpork stamps to the value of £5.00 or thereabout.
Each LBE contained a significant phrase or saying (from the Frog). One in 10 contained a special prize winning ticket which could be redeemed for a special First Day Covers. In addition there was a sport or variant stamp per 10 Envelopes.
The special prizes were:

• 50 Koom Valley First Day covers that in addition to the Koom Valley Stamps have a First class Royal Mail Christmas stamp with a Royal Mail Wincanton frank for 1st November.
• 50 Hogswatch First Day covers which in addition to the Hogswatch stamp have a Royal Mail Christmas stamp franked at Wincanton Post Office on December 1st.

Foreign Parts LBE

Contained a mix of regional stamps including Leshp, Twoshirts, Zlobenia, Koom Valley, Sto Lat, Sto Helit and Bad Blintz.
Some slight colour variations in the label have been noted (most likely due to inks in the printer running out).

Second Aniversary LBE

Created to celebrate the second aniversary of discworld stamps.  By special dispensation, one in 40 contained the new purple triangle (rather than the regular ratio of one in 50).

2006 Discworld Convention LBE

A picture of Dame Timpani and her audience, with the words 'Dame Timpani sings La Stampina Elussiva La'more A Romantic aria full of surprises and tokens of affections. DW Con 06 Special LBE 1/1500.
Each LBE contained a special Quiz question and a limited number Ankh-Morpork Opera tickets.

Hogswatch Gift LBE 2006

The perfect gift for Hogswatch this label even included a space to write your greeting.
Included in the usual mixture of stamps were one or other of the 2006 Hogswatch stamps, together with a Hogswatch seasonal motto and some glittery sprinkles.
One in 50 will contained a Hogswatch sport, and one in 20 will had a voucher for a free extra LBE.

Hogswatch 2006 LBE

Features the snowman from the Hogswatch stamp.
Underneath note says 'With festive thanks to Alan & Colin for coming up with this image'.  Each LBE contained the two Hogswatch stamps plus 10% extra stamps free (£5.50 worth, in other words) and some festive sprinkles. Plus 1 in 10 LBEs contained a Lucky Dip ticket, and one in 20 contained a Special Prize ticket.
