Unperforated Penny Patrician

Original Design of the Penny Black and the Gris: the Gris ending up with more grey hair, the penny black with less.  Unperforated, distributed to the first 500 subscribers to the Stanley Howler Stamp Journal.

Eminence Gris

Early design of the Penny Patrician, hair is much greyer than the later penny patrician version.  Some variation seen in print quality seen between different stamps.

Digital Print Patrician

Released in the fourth anniversary LBE.  Print area is slightly smaller than the orginial Penny Patrician (SHS-RW0003-Am).  Printing also tends to be darker than the original and crisper.

Penny Civic

Easily recognizable because the paper is thinner (80gm) than the normal Penny's, and the printing process is one not  used before. Cartouches (corner plates) bear the letters H-V & A-M.
Only distrubuted in LBEs (packing frequency:  One in 20)

Due to the printing process used, one stamp on every sheet has a slight misprint in the V

 Proof Sheet

250 proof sheets of the Civic were printed and sold exclusively to subscribers of the Stanley Howler Stamp Journal.  Proof sheets were unperforated and are individually numbered.
The sheets were sent in special archive grade sleeve together with a small card explaining how the stamps were produce and signed by The Cunning Artificer.  In addition to this, the envelopes in which the proof sheets were sent had a special 'Ankh-Morpork Duty Paid April 2005' sticker on them.

Special stamp offered to members of the stamp forum 11.3.05.  Offered in a lottery where the first 100 entrants who agreed to make at least a £10 donation to Comic Relief (a UK charity for helping victims of poverty), would receive a special red nose patrician.

Cabbage Civic

Bears the AM for Ankh-Morpork in the corner cartouches but, unlike the ordinary penny civic, has two cabbages in the top cartouches.  Availalble with the third issue of the Stanley Howler Stamp Journal.

Penny Patrician Campaign Booklet

A booklet containing 6 stamps newly designed stamps as a Special Military Issue.  These stamps were printed and set into a booklet bearing the title 'Ankh-Morpork Post Office SPECIAL MILITARY ISSUE' Inside the front cover includes the inscription 'To our brave sons of Ankh-Morpork These stamps will carry your thoughts to your mothers and sweethearts who also serve at home May the Gods protect you all Lady Sybil Ramkin' They were first issued at the 2005 CCDE which had the theme of 'Monstrous Regiment'. There are six stamps to a booklet, one of which is a sport. Cartouches (comer plates) bear the letters A - M above being crossed sabres.
