The Thrup'ny Dreadful.  Hand Perforated 35mm x 38mm.  A rich Blue Purple on a white and very dead, body.  Reverse features a yellow background with a red skull and crossbones.
The first edition of the Assassin 3p stamp.  Withdrawn from the market following the unfortunate deaths of several patrons.

A rich blue and purple on a white dead body paper, missing vine near the dagger-point, the back is green dots.
Come with a beige card insert stating

Thys now being safe. Should ever a poison from a Stamp Malicious be administered but lick thys Antidote Stamp for a negation of the Evil Humours.

Contract Assassin

The suitably sinister diamond design 3p stamp, sponsored by the Guild of Assassins under a new contract for the Year of the Reversed Ptarmigan.
Featuring the Guild coat of arms in white, on a checkerboard background in shades of Black Grape purple and black.

The scan does not convey the rich tones of this unique stamp. I must personally congratulate Colin Edwards for his skill and perseverance in bringing this stamp into our collection. He worked tirelessly with the printers over many days before he was satisfied with the result, during which time he was suffering from a severe bout of influenza. Its this sort of craftsmanship and dedication that gives our stamps something so very special, apart that is from the collectors themselves.
